Public Utility Operator (Water & Wastewater)
The Town of Wilmington is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join its Public Utilities Department. This full-time position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Town’s water and wastewater systems, helping provide safe drinking water and protect public health and the environment.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain and maintain Vermont Water and Wastewater Operator Certifications. Mechanical, construction, or utility experience is preferred. Participation in an on-call rotation and emergency response is required.
Pay based on experience $20-$25 per hour, plus excellent benefits, and paid training.
